The Drawing Exchange 2018 explores drawing as a form of dialogue. Twelve contemporary Australian artists have developed a long-distance collaboration based on a range of interdisciplinary approaches to drawing practice. The Drawing Exchange 2018 investigates the diversity of current drawing practices and the generative potential of collaboration.

The collaborative duos: Louise Haselton & Damian Dillon, Bernadette Klavins & Toni Warburton, Michael Kutschbach & Marian Tubbs, Mary-Jean Richardson & Chelsea Lehmann, Hossein Valamanesh & Gary Deirmendjian, and Laura Wills & Kirtika Kain

Kirtika Kain (NSW) is collaborating with  Laura Wills (SA). Through discussion and collaboration they have found commonality in the line. The line that demarcates borders and boundaries and divides body, land and people; both artists have interpreted this simple form and its vast implications.
